East Bay Community Energy (EBCE), the City of Pleasanton's public power provider, now has electric vehicle (EV) charging incentives available in Alameda County. East Bay Community Energy is a public agency providing electricity generation for residents and businesses in the East Bay. Their work helps develop sustainable energy sources for East Bay communities.
EBCE has EV charging infrastructure rebates available for Hacienda businesses, retailers, and multifamily property owners and managers who provide parking for employees, visitors and/or residential tenants. Alameda County Incentive Project rebates are for the purchase and installation of new EV charging infrastructure. Eligible applicants may receive up to $6,000 per Level 2 charging station connector. Details on the program and a program application can be found by visiting: calevip.org/incentive-project/alameda-county.
Interested participants can learn more at a special upcoming Hacienda Earth Day webinar on the EV charging infrastructure rebate program. The webinar will be held on April 22 at 10:00 am (PST) and will provide an opportunity to learn more about program requirements, the application process, and how to find eligible service providers.
