Rideshare Week, a regional event sponsored by RIDES for Bay Area Commuters, offers prizes and opportunities for those willing to try a transportation alternative during the week of October 2-6.
Pledge to use a commute alternative once during Rideshare Week and you could win a trip to Australia, tickets for the Napa Valley Wine Train, a Monterey Bay kayak tour, Planet Granite (rock climbing) passes, complementary meals at Fresh Choice restaurant or tickets to Great America. Simply fill out a RIDES pledge form to try a commute alternative (carpooling, vanpooling, biking, transit, telecommuting or walking) and RIDES will send you everything you need to try the alternative. To register for the event simply click on the image below or follow this link: www.rides.org/rsw00/index.shtml.
Join RIDES for Bay Area Commuters and other transit organizations at Hacienda's Sixth Annual Transportation Fair to kick-off Rideshare Week. Pledge not to drive alone at least once during Rideshare Week and sign up to receive a matchlist for carpooling or vanpooling and receive a free commuter mug or tote bag. The fair is being held on Thursday, September 28th from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at the CarrAmerica Corporate Center, 4400 Rosewood Drive.
